Welcome!

We have a lot of fun here at the Jones' house! I wanted to find that picture with all 5 of us looking at the camera smiling perfectly but that just doesn't exist yet. Maybe someday. So here is the real us!...

A few things have happened since March!!!

Okay!!! I am sorry! It has been a while to say the least. So, here is what has happened since March....
Isaac Isreal Weatherred (March)...

We got to meet Isaac Weatherred for the first time and had a blast with everyone! Here are a few pictures of Isaac, Jason, Hannah, and Rebecca (Hannah's sister whom I love!-she is a ton of fun as you can see by her guitar hero pic)

Liv's Birthday (March 31st)

Olivia Marie Jones turned TWO! I can't believe it! (now she is almost two and a half). We had the family over for a fun party. I think she loves her cake!

Dedication (March 31st)
We decided to have Liv and Belle dedicated at church together. It was a very special day. It was so great to have Jason and Hannah in town along with the rest of our family and wonderful friends to stand up there with us and commit to helping us raise our children. As Brad shared that day, we want more than anything for our children to love the Lord and know Him deeply. (I just remembered that I had my friend Darcy take pictures that day so they are not saved on my computer...I will post them later. Whoops)

Memorial Day!!! (May)
Dad and Belle after checking out the water.

We are very thankful for our our friends, Doug, Jeannie, and Allyson. They are like family to us and we started a tradition of spending Memorial Day and the 4th of July with them up at their cabin. It really is two of our favorite weekends of the year! We love every second of our time up there! And the girls do too...the sand volleyball court is a two year old's dream. I'm pretty sure Olivia could sit there and dig for the entire weekend if we didn't interrupt her with things like nap time and meals.

Hoopfest (June)

Brad and some friends played in hoopfest and got second in their bracket but we of course do not have any pictures of that! Instead, here is a picture of Liv at the 'post hoopfest bbq'
Olivia's first pigtails...

This is quite the event as Brad and I produce girls who don't grow hair very quickly. Now don't get me wrong, we have given her haircuts...we call it trimming the mullet. We keep trimming the back until the top catches up. We are almost there at 2 and 1/2 but this picture is officially the first pigtails that stayed in more than 5 minutes.
As I said before, we love the fourth of July at the cabin...

Dad and Liv watching the fireworks! Doug and Jeannie's neighbor puts on the biggest firework show I have ever seen.

Some of our closest friends, Aaron and Megan, came up to the cabin to celebrate this year. Both our girls love them! (we do too!)

Belle was already asleep but Liv loved the show!
Belle is crawling no wait...now walking!!! (April/July)

Belle started crawling at 8 months then....

Belle started walking at about 11 months and is quite adventurous to say the least. She loves to get into anything and everything and climb on anything you put in front of her.

She is a little groggy from her nap in this picture but I just had to post it because she looks so old in it!
The Waterpark

We love the waterpark!

Here are a couple of fun playdates with some friends...(May-August)
The Hewas
Elizabeth is one of my closest friends and she has two beautiful kids and another on the way. Isaac and Grace are twins and my girls love them. We try to get together with them whenever our schedules cooperate.
The Boggs
We always have a blast with the Boggs! Jack is about 3 months older than Liv and Maggie is about 1 month older than Belle. They are an incredible family!

The Smiths
We have gotten together with Abby, Will, and Sam a few times this summer, which is always fun. We tried to get Belle in the picture too, but she just wasn't having it!
The Liezens

The Liezens are a great family. They are great friends and always so supportive. Liv loves Andrew and Belle and Abby are learning to be best friends. We tried three different 'photo shoots' to get a picture to use for the girl's birthday invitation. It is tough to get a good picture with multiple kids. Liv and Andrew wanted to be in the pictures as well.
The McMurrays
Lucia watching her brothers
Keagan and Kinkade being tough lifting weights.
The Sandbergs
Henry and Emma Sandberg are also great friends of Liv and Belle. Their mom, Lea and I went to high school together and then played volleyball together in college as well. This summer has been great as we have been able to meet at the park quite a few times to play. During our most recent playdate, Olivia fell while walking down a trail and Henry, being the kind young gentleman quickly went to her and helped pick her up. It was so cute watching a three year old try and help up a 2 year old. Not the most graceful but certainly one of the kindest things I have seen! It was also a highlight for Liv...later that day when I asked her if she had fun with her friend Henry she said 'ya, he picked me up'. I love that that is what she remembered after playing at the park for 2 and 1/2 hours.
Isabelle is ONE!!!! (August 11)
Belle ended up having two birthday parties...one with the family on her actual day, and one with all the friends. Some of our closest friends have a daughter that is 3 weeks younger than Isabelle so we decided to combine their birthday parties. She will never remember it but we had a blast with a bunch of great people. We feel so blessed to have such a great community!

She was done with her cake.
THE ZOO!!! (Labor Day)
For Labor Day we decided to head over to Seattle and stay with our friends Doug and Darla. This is Liv asleep on the way.
Liv loved feeding the giraffes while Belle might have been a bit terrified of the enormous creature coming at her with an incredibly long tongue!
For the rest of the zoo, Belle was literally bouncing with excitement and Liv wanted to see everything. This was a family favorite!
Our family fit in well at the zoo.

Liv and I also went to my good friend Sara's wedding...
Liv on the way to the wedding.
At the wedding talking with friends
This is Liv showing us her dog 'Bite Jones' (that's what she named her). (it was actually given to Belle for her first birthday but Liv seems to have fallen in love with Bite)
Liv after the wedding waiting for the ferry (it is about 11:00pm and she is loving life)
MBA
Brad started the MBA program at Gonzaga on September 1st so I tried to get a 'first day of school' picture but he just wouldn't pose for the camera. So here is the best shot I could get.
Some fun pictures...(March-September)
